The HITS Ocala circuit came to a close, the $100,000 Grand Prix of Ocala drew a large crowd to cheer on the thirty-eight entries that arrived to take on the challenge set by course designer Leopoldo Palacios-Jugo of Caracas, Venezuela. BLUEBONNET EQUINE HUMANE SOCIETY COMPLETES FIRST YEAR OF SERVCE TO TEXAS AND ARKANSAS HORSE INDUSTRY

On February 28, 2005, a group of concerned horse enthusiasts in Texas and Arkansas came together to form Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society (BEHS). Their mission was to improve the lives of horses and other equine animals by educating and helping owners, assisting law enforcement agencies, rehabilitating abused and neglected equines, and placing them into safe, adoptive homes.
