Lexington, KY - May 8, 2008 - The $30,000 Hagyard Lexington Classic Grand Prix CSI 3* took center stage today at the Kentucky Spring Horse Show, and Danielle Torano of Fort Lauderdale, FL, rode brilliantly for the win. Sarah Segal and True Love Surpass Minikus for Win in 1.40m Open Jumpers
Lexington, KY - May 7, 2008 - The Kentucky Spring Horse Show launched into show jumping action today at the picturesque Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. The Sheila C. Johnson Arena hosted the 1.40m and 1.45m Open Jumper classes, with the in-gate opening at 8:00 a.m. Jimmy Torano and his horse Ormsby Hill captured the victory in the 1.45m class, and Sarah Segal piloted True Love for the blue ribbon in the 1.40m speed. AIKEN, S. C. —MAY 5, 2008 —The final week of the Aiken Spring Classic saw yet another set of impressive performances by the riders of the Monroe, N.C.-based Hunters Lane Farm.
For the second consecutive week, Lucille Oken of Charlotte, N.C. was tops in her divisions. For her efforts she was named Circuit Champion Pony Hunter and Best Child Pony Rider. (More…)
AIKEN, S. C. —MAY 5, 2008 — The final week of the Aiken Spring Classic was win win for Daniel Geitner, of the Aiken-based DFG Stables.
At the Aiken Finale, which concluded at the Highfields Events Center on Sunday, Geitner lead the victory gallop in this week’s highlight event, the $30,000 Carolina Real Estate Co. Grand Prix, as well as both Young Jumper Championships. (More…)
MAY 5, 2008 — Miranda Gali, 12, of the Potomac, MD-based GaliCo Equine, seized not one but two Reserve Championships this week with her pony Chris Craft.

French phenomenon Nicolas Touzaint became the first Frenchman ever to win The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. Tears of both relief and disbelief flowed down his face as he and Hildago De L’Ile performed several fast victory laps and the French National Anthem was played here for the first time. “Just to compete at Badminton is a dream and I never for one moment imagined I could win – although I had hoped to finish in the top five,” said Nicolas. “Many have doubted this horse but now he is a true Champion.” (More…)

LUMMEN, BELGIUM, MAY 2, 2008 Eric Lamaze was the equal best individual, with a perfect performance in today’s show jumping nations cup in Lummen, Belgium.
