THE HAMPTON CLASSIC - “The Perfect End to The Perfect Summer”

We were plagued by rain all week long at the Hampton Classic Horse Show and on Saturday it rained and misted all day long. We were hopeful that the rain would stop but instead buckets of rain came down all night and for most of Sunday morning. But it seemed like luck was with us when by noon the skies started to clear up and Mother Nature allowed some sunshine to come through. With that sunshine came the people. (Read on…)

Chesler-Ortiz Captures First in $75,000 World Cup Qualifier

There was no real labour for Frankie Chesler-Ortiz and her nine-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare Picolien Zeldenrust to deliver the winning jump off time of 52.65 seconds in the $75,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier held at the Canadian Country Classic Halton Place Horse Show this past Labour Day weekend. LYDIA TODD AND JULIANNA BOWER WIN PRESTIGIOUS CHILDREN’S MEDAL FINALS AT 72ND ANNUAL QUENTIN RIDING CLUB FALL HORSE SHOW

QUENTIN, PA: Elizabethtown, PA resident Lydia Todd beat out 15 riders to win the Josey Mohler Equitation Finals at the 72nd annual Quentin Riding Club Fall Horse Show over Labor Day weekend. Riding her horse Good Question, Todd was both “nervous” and “excited” as she entered the ring to compete in the first round—an over fences course consisting of 10 jumps at 3’. (Read on…)
