Audio and Video coverage continues to impress the HJN Audience
September 11, 2025
Thanks to all of you who continue to submit emails regarding your appreciation of HJN’s Audio and Video coverage of major events throughout the United States and Europe. We promise you that it will continue.
During August we were able to provide you with Audio and Video from the European Championships, the Global Champions Tour at the Netherlands, the final Meydan Nations Cup as well as a number of interviews including those with USA’s Chef D’Equipe George Morris, European Jumping Champion Kevin Staut and Dressage Superstar Edward Gal.
We see that we have also awakened our competitor who seemed to have forgotten that there was a Northeast Summer Circuit at Lake Placid, I Love New York, the Vermont Summer Classic, the Hampton Classic and the Fidelity Jumper Classic.
Today they provided us with a tour of the Kentucky Horse Park as they say “by the nation’s most popular equestrian news website”. Someone over there must have read last months HJN editorial about the lack of original material. But as for the “most popular news website”, we have our doubts.
I guess you have to be worried when compete.com reports you with only 281 unique visitors in the month of July. We admit it was a slow month. We only had 7,673 unique visitors.
In September, our coverage continues from England’s Burghley Horse Trials and now you can look for HJN coverage from Spruce Meadows and the Masters Tournament, as well as the start of the indoor season. An audio of yesterday’s press conference with Jaime Azcarraga (MEX) who rode Presley Boy to a win at Thursday’s CANA Cup is currently posted and HJN’s Sandi Henning is at the Masters Tournament shooting Photo’s.
