Cleveland, Ohio – The Merrill Lynch Hunter Jumper Classic announces that the popular Youth and Family Days will be back in 2006. Gail Tobin, one of the horse show’s co-chairmen commented “Family & Youth Days are a very important part of our 9 day event. Youth Day has a variety of activities targeted toward children’s groups and camps while Family Day is a fun day with a variety of activities for children under 12.”
Youth Day will be held on Thursday July 13th from 9 am to 1 pm for pre-registered groups & camps. There will be a variety of horse related and hands-on activities for the hildren to participate in. To signup a group or for more information, contact Toni Robb at 330-807-8506.
Family Day will take place on Saturday July 15th from 9 am to 3 pm. There will be a variety of full-filled activities plus admission for children is free on Family Day. Some of the activities planned are pony rides, stick horse decorating, face painting, horseless horse show, Mark Wood Fun Show and character appearances with our mascot, Hunter. Chabam, the unique, fun-filled, extra-curricular learning center for children located on Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere will also be participating with activities for the children. The 9 day horse show runs from Saturday July 8th through Sunday July 15th, 8 am until dusk. Admission is free Saturday July 8th through Wed. July 12th. Ticket prices for Thursday July 13th through Saturday July 15th are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 & under and seniors. Saturday July 15th is Family Day and all children 12 & under is admitted free. For Sunday July 16th, ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children & seniors. Parking is always free.
