While much of the US attention was focused on the Samsung Super League competition from Luzern, Switzerland, the European Riders Tour was at Weisbaden, Germany for the second stage of the competition.
USA’s Lauren Hough is part of Team Berlin. On Saturday, riding Clasiko, she finished with just a rail as the Team ended in 4th place with 9 faults. Team AMG - La Silla were faultless and finished in first place.

On Sunday, Lauren Hough was again back for the Individual competition and went double clear riding Clasiko to finish eigth in this Rider’s Tour Competition that was won by Germany’s Heinrich Herman Engemann. Engemann and Toni Hassmann are now tied for the individual Tour lead
Lauren was also double clear and finished third with Ottaline in the Prize Von Hessen, a Table A (Art 276.2) competition with a jump off. Course designer Frank Rothenberger set up a 12 obstacle course for the competition with a triple at fence 6 and a double at fence 11. The event was won by Germany’s Andre Time aboard Magnus.
