SUCCESSFUL 2ND DAY IN HERNING

It is the 30th anniversary of the Danish Warmblood annual stallion licensing in Herning, and the number of visitors is once again expected to exceed 50,000.

Proud parents H.R.H. Princess Benedikte and Prince Richard were present at MCH Messecenter Herning when Princess Nathalie showed her family’s silver medal mare, Fabienne, who is born at the Berleburg Castle in Germany. Princess Nathalie and Fabienne by Blue Hors Future Cup will be competing in several classes during the big equine event in Herning, which H.R.H. Princess Benedikte and Princess Richard will attend throughout the weekend.

For the first time ever the 3 year old colts of dressage bloodlines did not free jump; meaning that only the colts of jumping bloodlines were shown over the fences and those of dressage bloodlines were shown loose in the arena, much to the advantage for the presentation of both.

The dressage test rider at the Young Horse Championships, Rune Willum, did open voting and commenting while riding the young dressage horses. The gold medal mare, UNO Donna Unique by Blue Hors Don Schufro, ridden by Andreas Helgstrand, received top scores which enables her to stay in the lead of the competition among the dressage prospects. In the jumping competition for the young horses is a strong competition between the top three horses L. Leth by Lambrusco Ask, Cadeau by Equest Carnute and Birkegårdens Chiquita by Coronado

Thursday the licensing committee approved 33 stallions of the age group four years and older. The 33 stallions approved for breeding are:
