Spring Tuscany Tour - The European Rider’s Tours only competition outside of Germany

The outdoor season has arrived in Europe and this week most of Europes best are at the Spring Tuscany Tour with their Young Horses. This week is the second week of a three week performance and the only weeks that the Riders Tour takes place outside of Germany. It is a first.

Peter Wylde is still in Europe and competing with the best that Europe has to offer and has been quite impressive with his performance.

On Saturday, Peter competed along with such notables as Ludger Beerbaum, Marco Kutcher, Meredith Micheals-Beerbaum, Michel Robert, Cian O’Connor and Rolf-Göran Bengsston to name but a few of the riders that are here.

The big event on Saturday was the 1.45 mixed competition. Ludger Beerbaum continued the outdoor season as impressively as he ended it last year. Riding Enorm he was clear and managed to eek out a 2/100ths of a second victory (33.11) over Italy’s Rolli Giuseppe aboard Jericho de la Vie (33.13). The competition was a tight one as Frances Thierry Rozier aboard Polola La Sills was .11 behind Ludger and settled for third in 33.22. And the USA’s Peter Wylde riding Quo Vadis was also clear in 34.86 for fourth. The only other clear was Christian Ahlmann, a former European Champion aboard Coster. This pair finished in fifth at 35.08.

The riders had nothing but good things to say about this competition as did the course designer Frank Rothenberger. Nelson Pessoa brought 28 horses to the event and Rodrigo is expected there to prep his horses for the Outdoor Eurpoean season.
