SPCA Benefit Riding Clinic to be Hosted by Michael Tokaruk and the Tokaruk Show Stables

NOVEMBER 26, 2025— Grand Prix Champion Michael Tokaruk, of the Aiken, S.C.-based Tokaruk Show Stables, will host a benefit clinic Saturday Dec. 15 at the 36-acre facility he operates with his brother, Luke Tokaruk, on Chime Bell Church Road in Aiken. All proceeds from the clinic will go to the local SPCA chapter and will contribute to ongoing spay and neuter campaigns, among other projects.

The clinic is being organized by Cynthia Keating, publisher of Aikenhorsesonline.com, a community equestrian website.

“ I’ve met Michael on several occasions, and as a new Aiken resident and business man, he was, of course, looking for more local exposure,” said organizer Keating. “I always thought one of the best ways is to help a local rescue and he agreed. We’re thrilled to be working with Michael,” added Keating. “How many opportunities does a young equestrian get to work with a rider and trainer of his caliber?”

The clinic is a one-day event with three two-hour sessions beginning at 8:30am, 10:30am, and 1 pm. It will be open to riders of all levels and all ages at a cost $75 per session. Riders must have their own horse. Auditing is free.

Note also that stalls will be available Friday and Saturday nights at $25 per night (current coggins required), and that Tokaruk will be available for private lessons on Sunday Dec. 16.

One of the industry’s most promising stars, Michael Tokaruk, 26, is a native of Ontario, Canada. He shows throughout the Southeast in both the Hunter and Jumper divisions and has had numerous successes in the Grand Prix arena with his 13-year-old Holsteiner gelding Lord Byron. Tokaruk had been riding professionally for David Pellegrini’s Spring Mill Farm in Eads, TN., before partnering with his brother Luke to launch Tokaruk Show Stables, a showing, training, and sales facility in Aiken this past April.

“I’m happy to be participating in this event,” said Tokaruk. “Aiken is absolutely beautiful and charming and the people have all been very friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t ask for a better place to run our business, and Luke and I are happy to have this opportunity to give back.”
