Parker, CO—The Colorado Horse Park is pleased to announce that three of Colorado’s top athletes will sign autographs this July during the Grand Prix show jumping events. Sports fans will have a chance to meet NBA All Star Carmelo Anthony, Denver Broncos Pro Bowl Cornerback Champ Bailey and Denver Broncos Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Javon Walker. The Colorado Horse Park Triple Crown features three Grand Prix show jumping events with $225,000 in prizemoney and awards, making it one of the most lucrative events in the region.
“There’s something for everyone this summer at The Colorado Horse Park,” said General Manager Rob Janson. “For horse lovers we have some of the best horses and riders in the country. And for sports fans it doesn’t get any better than Melo, Champ and Javon. It’s going to be a great summer at The Colorado Horse Park.”
The schedule for the events is:
July 14 Peak Building Systems $25,000 Grand Prix and Champ Bailey Autograph Signing
July 21 $40,000 AGA Rocky Mountain Grand Prix Presented by Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply and Javon Walker Autograph Signing
July 28 $60,000 AGA Grand Prix of Denver Presented by Dillard’s and Ariat with Carmelo Autograph Signing
Autograph signings are 3:00-4:30 p.m.
Pre-show entertainment and games 4:30-5:30 p.m.
First horse on course 5:30 p.m.
For 15 years The Colorado Horse Park Grand Prix have attracted top riders from around the world. In this unique Olympic sport horses and riders face obstacles five feet tall and up to six feet wide. Men and women are equal opponents in this thrilling sport. “We have thousands of fans that return year after year,” Janson continued. A $100,000 bonus is offered to any horse and rider combination that can win all three Grand Prix.
Over the years the Grand Prix at the park have benefited various charities including The Children’s Hospital and Praying Hands Ranch. This year Grand Prix ticket sales benefit The Morgan Adams Foundation as well as The Colorado Horse Park. Janson explains, “Although the horse park is a non-profit, it is important to us to give back to the community, which is why our ticketed events also benefit other charitable organizations.”

Autograph signing tickets are $25 each and include a free poster, autograph signing, opportunity to participate in the pre-show and admission to the Grand Prix. Advance purchase of the autograph signing tickets is highly recommended since the number available is extremely limited.
