MICHAL RAPCEWICZ FROM POLAND WITH THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE DAY IN LIPICA

The second day of FEI CDI3* - W/ CDIJ /CDIY competition in shinny Lipica, Slovenia, we saw three competitions, with two most demanding qualifying tasks for final decisions behind us.
In the first task of the day – Grand Prix - 17 riders performed in the parkur, trying to qualify for tomorrow’s Grand Prix Special competition. Valentina Truppa with Eremo del Castegno showed the best performance with final score of 69.809 %, Susanna Bordone, Italy on Dark Surprise was second and German Fran Freund with Don Dior third. Additional six riders made it to tomorrow’s final competition with the total prize money of 3.500 euros.
Qualifying for the Sunday’s Free Style test to Music – Grand Prix level (FEI World CUpTM Dressage Qualifier) the second competition of the day in task Grand Prix provided for the best result of 2011 Lipica Competition so far. Pole Michal Rapchevicz on Randon got 71.426 % for his performance. Second was Italijan Valentina Truppa with Chablis and score of 69,362 %. Hungarian Robert Acs with Weinzauber was third. Nine competitors will performe in Sunday’s Free Style to Music, among them also last years Lipica winner Richard Davison from Great Britain.
