Erin Stewart relinquishes her Amateur status and Turns Professional

Following an impressive Junior career, Erin stepped to the Amateur Division where her success is extraordinary, and now she has turned Professional in the Hunter Jumper world. Her decision to turn Professional, and move to the West Coast, is California’s gain. Edgewood Equestrian Training Center, and the Hersh-Boyle family, are excited she has chosen to focus her efforts with them.
Her main goal for herself is to be an asset to this industry and now California specifically. Her goals for Edgewood are to help it grow and succeed and she is very excited to work with Bob Walker.”I think he will help me reach all my goals and teach me a lot, not only about the horses but about life as well. He is a marvelous person, a terrific horseman and has great insight into so much I need to learn. It is a privilege to get to be a part of Edgewood with him.”
Her parents are Don and Nancy Stewart, well known trainers on the east coast, are proud of her but will miss her. Don says…….”We will miss her tremendously, she has been a day to day part of our lives, as well as our business, for so long I cannot imagine it without her here. But the opportunity to be a part of the Hersh-Boyle family is pretty exciting for all us, and we are exceedingly proud. San Francisco is a great part of the country, and she is only a plane ride away. We plan on taking that plane ride a lot now! Maybe we will actually get some vacation time in that spectacular area. For us it is also exciting to make more friends on the west coast since I am sure we will be around the show ring as a support group for her now.
