FEI Action Unjust!

N.A.R.G. board members on-site in Geneva were actively engaged in the discussions and press conferences following the FEI’s action to retroactively eliminate McLain Ward’s leading mount, Sapphire, from the World Cup finals today.
Having witnessed the discussions first hand, listened to the Veterinarians on all sides, and heard a report from Rodrigo Pessoa, President of the International Riders club, who viewed the the videos of the FEI hypersensitivity testing, N.A.R.G. has come to the conclusion that it agrees with the position of the U.S.E.F., USA Team Veterinarian, Tim Ober and McLain Ward himself, that the action taken was ARBRITRARY, UNJUST and INAPPROPRIATE.
“This is a sad day for the sport of show jumping” said N.A.R.G. President Chris Kappler, “This is one more example of why N.A.R.G was formed: To fight for riders rights.”
