The Winter Circuit is off and running with both old and new faces
January 18, 2026
The Jacksonville Winter Series is underway with our faithful reporter Robbi Meisel again providing you with coverage. This past weekend we saw the first $100,000 World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix of the Season with Ireland’s 21 year old Darragh Kenny, now US based and training with Missy Clark taking the win. Robbi has again started a Gallery of Photo’s for your view in 2010.
Congratulations are in order to Jennifer Wood and her new Jennifer Wood Media, Inc. for securing the press contract for this year’s Winter Equestrian Festival. Jennifer is an old friend of HJN. Her relationship with us dates back to Towerhead’s days when she provided specific show coverage including her 2006 Gallery of both Hunters and Jumpers at WEF. You can still view that Gallery today at http://www.hunterjumpernews.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=757. It is interesting to note in her gallery that a number of the horses remain in competition, it is just the riders who have changed.
Also back at WEF is Randi Muster of Mustphoto, Inc., Official Sport Photographer of the 2010 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival. She has teamed up with Jennifer Wood and you can also view her WEF coverage at HJN.
HITS Ocala gets underway next week and HITS Thermal begins on January 26th. Flying Horse Photography will be covering HITS Thermal and Lili Weik Photography will be at Ocala.
