Andreas Dibowski of the German team achieved the best result of the day in the dressage competition of the eventing. He was awarded 40.9 (minus) points with his 12-year-old Hanoverian mare, FRH Serve Well and is followed by the Australian rider Megan Jones with the 13-year-old gelding, Kriby Parker Irish Jester, (44.1). The rider from New Zealand, Donna Smith, currently ranks third with the 11-year-old thoroughbred gelding, Call Me Clifton (45.4). (More…)
One of the neatest things about being in Aachen at the 2006 WEG has been watching so many people have access to the people they may have idolized. I know I have a short list of famous people (of the non-equestrian type) that I would love to meet, if not just to tell them how much they have inspired me creatively, or how ultimately super cool I think they are, or just how much I love them. Aachen, Germany - A brand new cross-country course awaits the eventers as they begin their first of three phases at the 2006 WEG. But before they can take to the new course (which will be contested in the short format without steeplechase), there are two days of dressage. And if the morning of the first day is any indication, it will be a cold and wet ride. In addition, it was the first day of a series of compulsories for the vaulting squads vying for medals. (More…)

Aachen, DE - August 23, 2025 - Canada’s Dressage riders were on center stage today, competing in the Dressage Grand Prix (FEI Grand Prix Test 2003). Ashley Holzer, now living in New York, was the first Canadian to go. Entering the ring on Gambol amid enthusiastic cheers from fellow Canadian Equestrian Teammates, supporters and fans, she gestured for silence. (More…)

Aachen, Germany – Day two of grand prix didn’t give any of the remaining 43 riders much of an advantage when it came to weather, but it did not seem to affect the Americans, the Dutch, the Germans or the Danes. (More…)
Team USA did it! They pulled out a hard-fought Bronze team medal at the 2006 WEG, and with Debbie McDonald riding in the “catch” position, she put in a winning performance and sits in the Top 10 at 9th place with Brentina. (More…)
