Spruce Meadows Charter

(SPRUCE MEADOWS, Calgary, AB): The Spruce Meadows “Masters” Charter comes once a year bringing with it the best horses in the world. The 747 Lufthansa flight is flying directly to the Calgary International Airport from Frankfurt, Germany.
There are over 65 horses scheduled to land at 1400 hrs MDT on Saturday September 5, 2009. World Cup Champion Shutterfly (GER) as well as the World Champion Dutch and European Champion Swiss team horses will be amongst those arriving in Calgary tomorrow.
The arrival of the charter means that the 2009 Spruce Meadows “Masters” Tournament is only days away. These horses along with their riders will be competing for over $2 million in prize money over the five days of top international show jumping.
